StoryPals - Luma Chapter 1
Luma and the Bright Idea
Emotion: Big feelings when you want to be understood
Luma had a bright idea.
A very bright idea.
It sparkled.
It swirled.
It danced inside her head.
“I have something to share!” Luma said.
But the world was busy.
Feet were moving.
Voices were talking.
No one noticed the sparkle.
Luma’s smile faded.
“My idea is important,” Luma thought.
“So why does it feel invisible?”
The sparkle inside her grew too big.
Too fast.
Luma stomped.
Then she stopped.
Her chest felt warm.
Her eyes felt full.
Luma sat quietly and hugged her knees.
The sparkle slowed.
Luma took a breath.
Then she tried again—but differently.
Luma drew her idea in the dirt.
She hummed it softly.
She waited.
Someone looked.
Someone listened.
The sparkle moved—from Luma’s heart to the world.
“Oh,” someone said.
“I see it now.”
Luma smiled.
Not because her idea was big—
but because it was heard.
That night, Luma looked at the stars.
They didn’t shout.
They didn’t rush.
They simply shined.
Luma learned something gentle and true:
Your feelings matter.
Your ideas matter.
And when you share them with care—
the world can listen.
The sparkle inside Luma rested.
Tomorrow, there would be more ideas.
And Luma would be ready.
